Welcome to Makere House

Makere House is nestled high up on Soldier Hill with breathtaking views of Cane Garden Bay, surrounding islands and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Situated at the end of a short drive Makere House enjoys a very private atmosphere consisting of 2 independent living units connected by a walkway and swimming pool. The living space is ideally suited for 2 couples with young children between the ages of 5 – 12 years, or a single couple with or without grown up children.

The two houses are very much in the ‘Caribbean Style’ with blue shutters and doors, white walls and terracotta tiled floors creating a clean and simple environment. Both have fully stocked kitchens with all modern requirements, private bathrooms and spacious bedrooms connected to wide and breezy decks with Ocean views.

Adjoining the two houses is a swimming pool with views directly down to the beach below and offering a welcome escape from the Caribbean heat. The pool is surrounded by a patio terrace that provides a spacious area for both sunbathing and al fresco dining.
